Golden Shine

Yet another chance for future glad,
after a day been had nothing new having been grabbed
A gloomy evening, bitter and chilled
timing used its will to place a stone on which to build
a golden shine, pure light behold
picked my eyes from the old and drew them from the cold
a shameful day, say nothing of my way
a smile so stray, uncontrollably I sway
my eyes look astonished, my face to the sea
such wonderful beauty deemed me worthy of thee
she
maybe someone to be
block by block I may plant
the seed of a fruitful tree

yet so chanced and enchanted
I missed the dance I was granted
two company be
though I was just me
So surroundings so crowded
I kept myself shrouded
though the moment we locked
eyes saw the time it stopped
a simple sight
of what I should do right
with an deep brooding to know
how I let myself go
How I let myself leave
though complications I weaved, only seemed
to be self inflicting,
how do I know we're not both the victim
a guiltless crime
though two victims will sigh
when they return to the time
they could say 'someone is mine'
Presumptuous maybe
but there was more I could see
in the second of her eyes
I saw my questions arise
in her own and mine
those being 'how, who's and whys'
